Monitoring

By having a monitored security system you are ensuring that your property and assets are watched over 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

This includes the monitoring of intruder and personal attack alarms.

Simply detecting an intruder and operating local sounders (bells) at the building is not enough, help should be summoned without delay.

Traditional bell-only alarms may alert staff or passersby, but outside business hours they offer little protection.

Due to an increase in false alarms in the 1990's Police forces will now not respond to a ringing bell unless there is evidence of an offence in progress or a 999 call is made. A monitored alarm can provide a confirmed signal to pass to the emergency services, a requirement of your insurers.

Digitec Security can offer a wide range of signalling solutions such as CSL DualCom and RedCare as well as IP signalling technology. Being an SSAIB Certified Company, Digitec Security can provide CCTV and Intruder Alarm system monitored with Police response.

Monitored Intruder and Panic Attack Alarms

All new applications will only qualify for a URN and Police response if the security system is installed to the current required standard (PD6662 /BS EN50131).

CCTV Monitoring

To enable remote detector activated CCTV systems to gain a URN for police response, systems are to be installed in compliance with BS8418, BS EN50132 and the NPCC Policy on Police Response.
